Kellett School, the British International School in Hong Kong was founded in 1976. Three decades on, the school occupies two campuses on Hong Kong Island and is seeing significant growth, as the roots of its second preparatory and new senior campus are under construction at Kowloon Bay and scheduled to open in September 2013. The present Preparatory and Senior sections both occupy modern purpose-built facilities that are generously staffed and resourced. The preparatory campus is located in Hong Kong’s Southern District of Wah Fu overlooking Kellett Bay and boasts an enviable range of facilities rarely found in a preparatory school of its size. Across the Island in Shau Kei Wan, and equally resourced is the home of Kellett Senior School which is growing year on year offering the UK GCSE/IGCSE and ‘A’ Level public examinations. Kellett School aims to instil ‘a love of learning and confidence for life’ for each student, by providing challenge, offering opportunity and giving responsibility. This is achieved by using a broad challenging academic programme for all students embracing 21st Century learning, creativity, the arts and sport.
